Due to Covid-19 protocol violations, the Washington Spirit have forfeited their match against OL Reign. The Spirit were set to take on the Reign on Sunday, September 12th at Audi Field.
Newly-appointed Club President Ben Olsen released a statement earlier today explaining the situation:

Last week, the Spirit traveled to Portland, Oregon to take on Portland Thorns FC, but the match was canceled because of positive Covid-19 cases within the Spirit organization.
As a result of the forfeit, the match will be recorded as a 3-0 victory for OL Reign.
The Spirit not have competed in an NWSL match since its August 29th home match versus the North Carolina Courage which resulted in a 0-0 draw.
Next up, the Spirit will compete in its upcoming match against Kansas City NWSL on September 26th at Segra Field in Leesburg, Virginia.
